When anyone thinks of NBA, the first thing that comes to their mind is towering players in their game outfits. There is however, so much more to the game than the height that a player brings to the basketball court. Sure, having a tall height does have its plus points in the game but ultimately it is the determination and focus that matters.

Muggsy Bogues

Muggsy is the shortest player in the NBA history.
Best known for his speed, passing and tenacity he played 14 seasons from 1987 to 2001.
Earl Boykins
Height : 5.5’’
Boykins is known for his great scoring abilities and quickness off the bench. He played 13 seasons from 1998 to 2012.
Spud Webb
Height : 5’7’’
Despite his height, he is known for jaw-dropping athleticism. He played 12 seasons from 1985 to 1998 and is famous for wining the Slam Dunk Contest of 1986.
Red Klotz
Height : 5’7’’
Klotz is known for founding and playing against the Harlem Globetrotter with the Washinton Generals.
He played during 1940’s to the early 1950’s.
Wat Misaka

Played briefly in 1947 for New York Knicks and was the first non-white player and the fist Asian-American origin player in the NBA.
Monte Towe

He was the college teammate of David Thompson at NC State and is known as a two-sport star. He played from 1976 to 1977.
