2021 SAFF Championship: Another disappointing result by India as held to a 0-0 Draw by Sri Lanka

Not a view, Indian Football Fans would have wished – as the Indian Men’s National Football Team disappointing performance continue under Coach Igor Štimac. Yet another draw for India in the 2021 SAFF Championship, as held by Sri Lanka 0-0 at the National Football Stadium in Malé, the Maldives on Thursday, October 7.

Whereas, the Blue Tigers were held to a 1-1 Draw by the 10-man Bangladesh team in their opening match.

However, only the top two teams will play the SAFF Championship 2021 Final. Meanwhile, Team India are currently placed 3rd in the Table out of the five Teams. As with two draws, India earned only 2 points till now.

Sri Lanka was playing its third match of the tournament are ranked 205th in the world. They had lost to Bangladesh by 0-1 and faced defeat against Nepal by losing 2-3. Nepal is currently at the top of the table with six points as they won 2 matches.
