This week’s WWE RAW in Birmingham was the final red brand show before Clash in Paris 2025. The episode gave fans plenty of action and also dropped some hidden signs about what could happen at the premium live event and in the weeks that follow.

Here are five key hints Triple H and his team gave the WWE Universe on RAW.

5. Becky Lynch looks set to keep her Intercontinental Championship

Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch opened the night with a promo, reminding fans that she had her WWE tryout in Birmingham years ago. But The Man didn’t hold back from insulting the city, calling it a place that never improved. This brought out Nikki Bella, who interrupted Becky and demanded a title shot at Clash in Paris.

The two exchanged words, which quickly turned into a fight. Nikki got the upper hand and left Becky lying in the ring. But if history is anything to go by, this could be a classic WWE trick. Superstars who stand tall before a big match often lose at the event. That means Becky Lynch may still leave Paris as Women’s Intercontinental Champion despite her rough night in Birmingham.

4. Roman Reigns vs Cody Rhodes could happen again

Roman Reigns came out for a promo and surprised everyone by mentioning Cody Rhodes. The crowd gave a mixed reaction, but the tease was enough to suggest a possible rematch.

Since losing his Undisputed Championship at WrestleMania XL, Roman hasn’t had a real rematch with Cody. Now with his new “OTC1” persona clashing directly with Cody’s “QB1” nickname, the rivalry feels far from over. Fans may finally see the long-awaited sequel to their WrestleMania story in the near future.

3. Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY could join forces

Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley fought Roxanne Perez this week and came out victorious. But the real story was what happened with IYO SKY. Earlier, SKY told Ripley they should avoid fighting each other to keep peace with the Kabuki Warriors.

However, after the match, Raquel Rodriguez attacked Ripley, and SKY came running to help her despite the agreement. This created tension with Asuka, who later yelled at SKY backstage. With Kairi Sane unable to calm things down, it seems a split is coming for the Kabuki Warriors. This could lead to a surprising team-up between Ripley and SKY against their former friends.

2. A hidden Chris Jericho reference

Fans also spotted a small but important moment on commentary. Corey Graves used the phrase “learning tree of The Judgment Day,” which is a clear nod to Chris Jericho’s AEW faction, The Learning Tree.

WWE also recently uploaded clips of Jericho’s old matches with John Cena and Roman Reigns on their YouTube channel. All of this points toward Jericho possibly returning to WWE once his AEW deal ends. If it happens, it would be huge news, as Jericho is the first man to ever hold both the Undisputed WWF Title and the AEW World Title.

1. Jey Uso may not win the World Heavyweight Championship

The main event saw LA Knight vs. Bron Breakker, with chaos breaking out afterward. Seth Rollins interfered, Jey Uso tried to even the odds, and CM Punk got involved as well. By the end, Jey Uso shocked everyone by hitting superkicks on both Knight and Punk, standing tall to close the show.

While it looked like a big win for Jey, WWE history suggests otherwise. Superstars who shine just before a big event often come up short when it matters most. This could mean Jey Uso won’t be leaving Clash in Paris with the World Heavyweight Championship. Still, his heel-like actions hint that a new side of Jey may be coming, which could reshape his future storylines.
