The Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen some of the greatest overseas stars who became legends. Kieron Pollard 

Kieron Pollard,  38-year-old legend. He was bought by the Mumbai Indians in the 2010 IPL auction for around ₹3.4 crore. 

Pollard played 189 matches, scoring 3,412 runs with 16 fifties and no centuries.  IPL Legend all-rounder, he also took 69 wickets and played 13 IPL seasons from 2010 to 2022, only for the Mumbai Indians. He retired after the 2022 season officially.

Dwayne Bravo

Dwayne Bravo, an IPL Legend from the West Indies, started his IPL journey in 2008 with the Mumbai Indians. Across 161 matches, Bravo scored 1,560 runs, including five fifties and no centuries.

 An IPL Legend all-rounder, he became the highest wicket-taker in IPL history with 183 wickets. He played 15 IPL seasons from 2008 to 2022 for the Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, and Gujarat Lions, with CSK as his final team.

Chris Gayle

Chris Gayle, an IPL Legend from the West Indies, entered the IPL in 2009 after being picked by Kolkata Knight Riders for around ₹4 crore. He played 142 matches, scoring 4,965 runs and hitting a record six centuries, the most in IPL history. 

Known for his power-hitting, an IPL Legend Gayle also took 18 wickets. He featured in around 13 IPL seasons from 2009 to 2021, representing Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Punjab Kings, with PBKS as his last team.

AB de Villiers

AB de Villiers, an IPL Legend from South Africa, began his IPL journey in 2008 and later became a key figure for Royal Challengers Bangalore after joining them in 2011. 

He played 184 matches, scoring 5,162 runs with three centuries. Known for his ability to play innovative shots all around the ground, de Villiers did not bowl in the IPL. He featured in 14 IPL seasons from 2008 to 2021, representing Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore, with RCB as his final team.

Lasith Malinga 

Lasith Malinga, an IPL Legend from Sri Lanka, was bought by the Mumbai Indians in 2008 and went on to become one of the league’s most successful fast bowlers. He played 122 matches, scoring 88 runs and taking 170 wickets.

 Famous for his deadly yorkers, Malinga was the highest wicket-taker in IPL history for several years. He played around 11 IPL seasons from 2009 to 2019 and represented only the Mumbai Indians, which was also his final IPL team.
