Jasprit Bumrah

Jasprit Bumrah recently played in the Asia Cup and the Tests vs West Indies and has now been rested from the ODIs.

Ravindra Jadeja

Jadeja has also been left out from the ODIs and this might be a signal that it is the end of his ODI career.

Hardik Pandya

Hardik Pandya’s name has also not been included in the list due to his ongoing recovery. Hardik had suffered an injury last month in September 2025, during a Super Four clash of Asia Cup due to which he would not be able to play and is still recovering.

Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami has not been considered for the one-day international series till now, and his name not being a part of the ODI Squad this time as well might have just marked an end for his ODI future too.

Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant’s name was also excluded from the list of cricketers selected for the ODIs due to an injury he got while he was playing the Test Tour of England.

Suryakumar Yadav

Suryakumar Yadav‘s name was also excluded due to a lack of consistency in his performances in the 50-over format. He has however been retained as the T20I captain.
