The PUBG Mobile World Cup (PMWC) 2025 is back for its second edition and promises exciting action. A total of 24 top teams from around the world will take part in this international esports event. The tournament will be held from July 25 to August 3, 2025, and is part of the Esports World Cup (EWC) 2025. Teams will fight not only for the title but also for a big prize pool of $3 million.
This year, Team Aryan will represent India, while other top squads from countries like China, Brazil, South Korea, Turkey, and more will also participate. Defending champions Alpha7 Esports from Brazil will return to defend their title.

PMWC 2025 Tournament Format
The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 will be played in three main stages:
1. Group Stage (July 25 – 27, 2025)
- All 24 teams will play in this stage.
- Teams will be divided into three groups.
- A round-robin format will be followed.
- Each team plays 12 matches in total.
- Top 8 teams from the overall standings will go directly to the Grand Finals.
- The other 16 teams move to the Survival Stage.
- No eliminations happen in this stage.
2. Survival Stage (July 29 – 30, 2025)
- The bottom 16 teams from the group stage will compete.
- They will play 12 matches across two days.
- Top 8 teams from this stage will qualify for the Grand Finals.
- The remaining bottom 8 teams will be eliminated from the tournament.
3. Grand Finals (August 1 – 3, 2025)
- The 16 best teams from Group and Survival stages compete here.
- A total of 18 matches are scheduled in this final round.

- After 12 matches, a match point target will be set.
- This target is the top team’s points after Day 2, plus 10 extra points.
- Once a team reaches the match point, it must win a Chicken Dinner to become champion.
- If no team wins after reaching the match point, the team with the most points overall will be declared the winner.
