The Diamond League 2025 came to a climactic end on August 28 in Zurich. Champions were crowned in each category of track and field.
The first day of competition took place on the streets of Zurich at Sechseläutenplatz, with athletes in men’s and women’s pole vault, women’s high jump, men’s long jump and men’s and women’s shot put competing for Diamond League titles.
Events on the second day were held at the Letzigrund Stadium, where 26 more champions were crowned for the 2025 season.
The winner in each event during the final not only won the title of 2025 Diamond League champion, but also a wild card to the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo scheduled to take place in September.
Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles raced to an unprecedented sixth series track title in the final event of the night in Zurich.
Armand ‘Mondo’ Duplantis, as expected, was crowned the men’s pole vault champion.
