Indian cricket team will take on West Indies in the second T20I on Monday, 1st August at Warner Park (cricket ground). India are leading this 5-match T20I series by 1-0 after they had an emphatic victory in the first game. The first T20I between India and West Indies was played on Friday, 29th June and the visitors won it by a huge margin of 68 runs.
Dinesh Karthik was the player of the match for his knock of 41 runs in the end of the first innings. So, the batter will definitely be in the team for the 2nd T20I. The bowlers also did a great job on behalf of some experienced ones, so it seems there’s not much changes to be made from the visiting side. The host might think of some changes to their playing XI as their batting performance was not good in the first T20I.
India’s predicted playing XI:
Rohit Sharma (c), Rishabh Pant (wk), Shreyas Iyer, Suryakumar Yadav, Hardik Pandya, Dinesh Karthik, Axar Patel, Harshal Patel, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Arshdeep Singh.
West Indies’ predicted playing XI:
Rovman Powell, Kyle Mayers, Shai Hope (wk), Shamarh Brooks, Brandon King, Nicholas Pooran (captain), Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph, Gudakesh Motie, Romario Shepherd, Jayden Seales.
