Kunlavut Vitidsarn has achieved historic milestones for Thailand in men’s singles. He is known for his consistency and endurance, which has earned him the nickname “Three-Game God” for his defensive, stamina-based playing style that often sees him through in deciding games.
The Thai star made history in May 2025 by becoming the first Thai badminton player to claim the World No. 1 spot in the BWF men’s singles rankings. He is also the reigning Asian men’s singles champion, having won the gold medal at the 2025 Asian Championships, and a silver medalist at the 2024 Olympic Games.
Junior Career
Born 11 May 2001, Kunlavut Vitidsarn became one of badminton’s most decorated junior players. He became the first men’s singles player to win three BWF World Junior Championships titles, claiming victories in 2017, 2018, and 2019. He also won gold at the 2019 Asian Junior Championships, after previously taking silver in 2018 and bronze in 2017. In addition, he represented Thailand at the 2018 Summer Youth Olympics.
