Breakaway European Super League founder and Juventus executive Andrea Agnelli say the group can not, at this point go on after six English clubs pulled out.
The 12 groups who had joined included Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Tottenham from the Premier League, three clubs from La Liga, and three from Serie A, including Agnelli’s Juventus.
Notwithstanding, following the judgment of the plans from figures all through the game and an influx of fan dissents, the six Premier League clubs declared on Tuesday that they were pulling out from the plans.
Agnelli has now conceded rout concerning the Super League, even though he keeps up the recommendations addressed the change he believes is required in European football.
“I remain convinced of the beauty of that project, but admittedly, I don’t think that the project is now still up and running,” Agnelli said.
