Aston Villa took the lead against Manchester United as Bertrand Traore scored a well-deserved goal. He scored in the 24th minute of the game and became the first player this season to score goals against United in both the times of home and way. Villa is now leading 1-0 at halftime and if it stays like this, today Manchester City will be crowned as English Champions.

Traore scored against United on 2nd January when Villa visited Old Trafford. He scored there in the 58th minute and gave Villa the much-needed equalizer but it only lasted up to 3 minutes as United key man Bruno Fernandes scored and sealed the victory. In this match, Traore scored again and gave Villa the lead. He took a beautiful touch to get past Lindelof and then won a physical fight with him to shoot in the top right corner.

If the score stays like this Villa will come at 9th position leaving Leeds United behind and with a game left in hand. United will be still in 2nd place but the upcoming matches will be crucial as Chelsea is now only 3 points behind if they lose this one.
