Australia’s white-ball team for the Pakistan trip does not include David Warner, Mitchell Starc, Josh Hazlewood, Pat Cummins, or Glenn Maxwell.

Australia’s white-ball bench strength will be put to the test during the next ODI series and a one-off T20I in Pakistan. This is due to the absence of opener David Warner, all-rounder Glenn Maxwell, and the great pace trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood.

Chief selector George Bailey has named a 15-man team for the five One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and one T20I, which begin on March 29 in Rawalpindi. Warner, Starc, Hazlewood, and Cummins will go to Pakistan for a three-match Test series before to the white-ball part of the historic trip. The foursome, though, has been rested for the limited-overs internationals. Meanwhile, Glenn Maxwell has been given leave owing to the Victorian’s approaching marriage. Despite the fact that Warner, Cummins, and Hazlewood did not play in the white-ball portion of the trip, Cricket Australia has decided not to release them for the 15th season of the IPL, which will overlap with the series.

This is due to the fact that, as CA-contractual players, their yearly vacation begins on April 6, and No Objection Certificates have only been provided for all contracted players as of that day. Warner, Cummins, and Hazlewood all signed with the Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Royal Challengers Bangalore, respectively, last week. Meanwhile, the Bangalore franchise has kept Maxwell.
