Avinash Sable of Maharashtra sets new record in steeplechase in Patiala

On the third day of the ongoing 24th National Federation Cup Senior Athletics Championships in NIS, Maharashtra’s Avinash Sable performed brilliantly in the 3000m steeplechase match. He set a new national record in 8 minutes 20.20 seconds. Sable created this history, breaking his old national record. He made the old national record in the World Championship held in Doha on October 4, 2019. Although 26-year-old Avinash has already qualified for the Olympics he also completed this match with full confidence.
