The nominees for the Ballon d’Or 2025 were revealed on Thursday,( 7 August). It is one of the most prestigious honours in the sport of football.
First awarded in 1956, the Ballon d’Or recognises the bests in football in a calendar year and reward the standout performances.
The 69th edition of the Ballon d’Or awards ceremony will take place on Monday 22 September at the Théâtre du Châtelet, located at the Place du Châtelet in Paris.
