Even though the fifth and final match of the series is yet to commence, Bangladesh has already emerged victorious by winning three out of four matches that have happened so far. The country hasn’t held a test series like that in 51 years, so this win marked a significant milestone in the country’s kabaddi history.
The series began with Bangladesh securing a commanding win over Nepal by 53-29 in the first match. Minzanur Rahman was specifically incredible in that match and also won the player of the match. His performance set the tone for their strong start in the series.
In the second match of the kabaddi series, Nepal bounced back after suffering a loss and won by a narrow margin of 45-42. This victory was the country’s first and only win in the series till now.
Bangladesh regained the lead by winning the third match of the series that took place on 25 February by 42-37. This helped the team maintain their advantage.
In the fourth match that happened yesterday on 26 February 2025, Bangladesh secured a decisive win of 49-24, which ensures their overall victory in the kabaddi series. This dominant performance highlighted their consistency and strength throughout the competition.
The fifth and final match will be held on Friday, 28 February 2025, and even though Bangladesh has already secured their victory, it will give both teams an opportunity to end on a high note. For Nepal, it will be a chance at redemption as they look to improve their performance while the opponent can look to maintain their winning streak and celebrate their historic series win.
