Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma applauds Axar Patel for his stunning knock in the second ODI against West Indies. Indian cricket team won the second ODI against West Indies on Sunday, 24th July at Queen’s Park Oval cricket ground. Rohit Sharma tweeted on Monday, 25th July to appreciate Axar Patel.

Rohit tweeted something in Gujarati to appreciate Axar Patel. Axar Patel was named ‘player of the match’ for his wonderful knock of 64* runs in just 35 balls. Not only with the bat, Axar Patel performed well with the ball as well in this second ODI. He gave 40 runs in his 10-over spell and also bowled a maiden over with a single wicket. This was Axar Patel’s maiden ODI half-century and this helped India clinch the series against West Indies. India is 2-0 up in this 3-match ODI series against West Indies.

“Woah 🤯 that was some performance from team India last night. Bapu badhu Saru che (Akshar Patel),” tweeted Rohit Sharma on Axar Patel on his official Twitter handle.

Indian cricket team will be playing 5 T20Is against West Indies once this ODI series will end. The players namely Rishabh Pant, Rohit Sharma, Dinesh Karthik and others have travelled to Trinidad for this T20Is (as photos posted by Rishabh Pant on his official social media handles).
