The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced a reward of INR 58 crore for the Indian players coaching staff and supporting staff as well. They also announced the cash prize for the Men’s selection committee team.

Under the leadership of captain Rohit Sharma, India showed notable performances in the match, securing four dominant wins on their way to the very last.
- They commenced with a six-wicket win against Bangladesh.
- Followed it up with every other six-wicket victory over Pakistan.
- Registered an exquisite 44-run victory over New Zealand.
- Defeated Australia by way of 4 wickets in the semi-final.
A Historic Triumph in the Final
India faced New Zealand in the final and won the trophy with a four-wicket win. The team’s combined efforts, which demonstrated their skill, diligence, and cooperation, led to the victory. With this win, Rohit Sharma has become India’s second-most successful captain after Mahendra Singh Dhoni in ICC tournaments.
This success also extended India’s top-notch thirteen-match triumphing streak in white-ball ICC events, with their dominance in world cricket.
