Belgium will face the USA in the FIFA World Cup 2026 round of 16 on July 7 at Seattle Stadium, Seattle. This is one of the biggest games because Belgium has not lost a single game in this World Cup. The USA Topped their group. They beat Australia and Paraguay. Then they beat Bosnia by 2-0.

Kevin De Bruyne (Belgium)

This guy is a legend. He won a lot of titles when he was playing for Manchester City. Now he plays for Napoli. When he plays for Belgium he is the one who runs the midfield. I remember he scored a goal, against New Zealand. It is really hard to get the ball from him when he has it. He has a sharp mind and always knows what to do with the ball.

Christian Pulisic (USA)

Captain America is what they call him. He was part of the team that won the Champions League with Chelsea. Now Balogun is not playing. So Pulisic has to do. Pulisic plays with Pepi up front. Pulisic has not scored any goals yet in this World Cup. Pulisic did help set up a goal when they beat Paraguay 4-1.

Romelu Lukaku (Belgium)

Belgium’s all-time top scorer is a great player. He is now at Napoli. He came off the bench when they played against Senegal. He still managed to score. People think he will start this game. This is his World Cup and Belgium’s all-time top scorer is still hungry, for more.

Chris Richards (USA)

The Alabama-born defender has been in sparkling form for the Stars and Stripes. The USA, in three games to date, has given up just the one goal, registering two clean sheets against the Socceroos and Bosnia in the Round of 32 fixture.

Richards is a very disciplined, composed, and structurally sound modern-day center back, playing his club football for Crystal Palace in the English top flight. The USMNT’s unquestioned defensive bedrock will go up against Romelu Lukaku, Kevin De Bruyne, and Jeremy Doku.

Thibaut Courtois (Belgium)

Thibaut Courtois is one of the best goalkeepers in this FIFA World Cup, the Belgian star player is playing his fourth FIFA World Cup after winning the Golden Glove in 2018. The Real Madrid star goalkeeper is a two-time UEFA Champions League winner, and their is very difficult to beat him in the shootout.

Balogun’s absence helps him. But Pulisic and Pepi can still cause trouble.
