Bengal Warriorz vs Bengaluru Bulls: In a dominating performance in Delhi at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium, Bengaluru Bulls completed a comprehensive 54-24 win against the Bengal Warriorz in their Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) 12 match on Wednesday. The win put the Bulls into third position in the points table, while it ended the Bengal Warriorz’s campaign for the season.
Alireza Mirzaian Paces Bengaluru Bulls with Super 10 Performance
The game was controlled by Alireza Mirzaian, who played the key role in the Bulls’ convincing victory. His Super 10 play, combined with Deepak Sankar’s impressive defensive effort, saw Bengaluru take a dominating lead towards the start of the game. Although Himanshu Narwal of the Warriorz also grabbed a Super 10, it was evident that the Bulls were the better team during the game.
Bulls Off to a Flying Start in Bengal Warriorz vs Bengaluru Bulls
The Bengaluru Bulls did not waste any time in taking charge. The game started with Vishwas picking up the opening point for the Bengal Warriorz, but the Bulls soon took the lead. Aashish Malik picked up a point for the Bulls, while Sanjay added a tackle, and the team took an early lead.
The momentum shifted strongly in the Bulls’ direction when Alireza Mirzaian performed a two-point Do-Or-Die Raid and then followed it up with an outstanding tackle by Satyappa Matti. It resulted in the first ALL OUT, and the Bulls had a comfortable seven-point lead.
The Bulls kept dominating from there on, with Deepak Sankar scoring his 50th tackle point in the league and further consolidating their hold on the game.
Bulls’ Ferocious Attack and Defence Create Huge Lead
With the game wearing on, Alireza Mirzaian continued to impress with his magnificent attacking prowess, finishing off his Super 10 and administering a second ALL OUT to the Bengal Warriorz, taking the Bulls’ lead to an enormous 16 points.
The Warriorz were desperate to come up with answers to the Bulls’ sustained pressure, but Himanshu Narwal and Phool Chandra’s attempts to get points for their side were in vain as they were unable to halt the tide.
At the conclusion of the first 30 minutes, the Bengaluru Bulls enjoyed a healthy 29-12 advantage, built on the back of contributions from Alireza, Deepak Sankar and Yogesh Dahiya, who all did their fair share on the offensive and defensive end.
Bulls Dominate the Second Half to Seal the Win
In the second half, we witnessed a continuation of the same action, as the Bengaluru Bulls easily kept heading locked down. Both Sanjay and Aashish Malik pulled off crucial tackles, and Alireza Mirzaian kept up his unstoppable form. The Bulls stacked up another ALL OUT to take a lead of 23 points and comfortably sealed off the contest.
Though Himanshu Narwal and Sandeep Saini tried to bridge the gap with a Super tackle and some raids, the Warriorz could not overturn the deficit. Deepak Sankar having already opened his name with a High Five, continued to exert pressure with several tackles, and Ahmad Reza Asgari joined the scorebook with a two-point raid and an important tackle.
Bengaluru Bulls Clinch Victory with a Score of 54-24
As the Bulls kept driving forward, they earned a fourth ALL OUT, taking their score to 50. With one last push, the Bulls sealed victory with a resounding 54-24 victory, crushing the Bengal Warriorz’s playoff hopes.
Bengaluru Bulls’ solid all-round performance, led by Alireza Mirzaian’s Super 10, Deepak Sankar’s High Five, and strong defensive performance, earned them a spot in the Top Three on the points table.
