Bengaluru Bulls vs Bengal Warriorz proved to be a one-way street as Alireza Mirzaian came up with a brilliant show to lead the Bulls to a 43–32 victory at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium on Sunday evening. The win saw the Bulls secure their third success on the trot, moving to fourth on the PKL Season 12 points table.

Alireza Mirzaian Steals the Show With 18 Points

The Iranian all-rounder was the integral part of the Bengaluru side’s win, racking up 18 points, which included a Super Raid that changed the tempo of the match, and he was meticulous in setting up both offence and defence. Also important was Deepak Sankar who stepped up to earn a High Five to stifle Bengal Warriorz’s raiders at key moments in the match.

Even though Devank Dalal achieved his 13th consecutive Super 10, the Bengal Warriorz were unable to capitalise on the opportunity as they crumbled under pressure in the final part of the match.

Even Start: Balanced Combat in First Quarter

The match began at a balanced pace, as both teams exchanged antics to start the match. In the first half, Devank Dalal started off quickly with aggressive raids, while Ashish gave Bengal Warriorz steadiness in the back.

However, Alireza Mirzaian kept the Bulls feeling positive with his two-way contributions, both offensively and defensively. At the 10-minute mark Bengal Warriorz led 10-9 showing the match was on track for a close finish.

Bengaluru Bulls Switch Gears Prior to Halftime

Things started swinging the Bengaluru Bulls way after Alireza pulled off that Super Tackle on Himanshu Narwal. I mean, that tackle really changed everything. The Bulls just took control from there. Ganesha Hanamantagol then hit a huge Super Raid. It created a real opening for them. By halftime, Bengaluru pulled ahead 22 to 15.

Second Half Action: All-Outs Are Traded To Keep Game Alive

The intensity escalated in the second half as both teams shared ALL OUTs. The Warriorz mounted a temporary comeback by staging an ALL OUT, but Alireza’s relentless raiding and composed captaincy helped Bengaluru make a quick turnaround.

The highlight of the match came up right then. Alireza pulled off this raid where he rejected Ashish, Manjeet, and Himanshu Narwal all in one go. That bumped the Bengaluru Bulls lead to 35 to 26. It was at the end of the third quarter, you know.
Final Quarter: Bengaluru Bulls Remain Calm to Secure Victory

Bengal Warriorz made a push there at the end. But the Bulls kept things locked down with their solid defense and steady game plan. That pretty much shut down any real comeback chance. Alireza got his Super 10 done.

And Deepak Sankar nailed a High Five. It included two big tackles on that tricky Devank. Those moves sealed the win for them. Bengaluru held on tight the whole way. No room for slip-ups. They wrapped it up strong. With an 11-point lead. 43 to 32.
