BGIS 2026 registrations have officially closed, bringing the open entry phase of India’s biggest Battlegrounds Mobile India tournament to an end. From December 15, 2025, to January 4, 2026, thousands of teams from across the country signed up with hopes of making it to the top.
The Krafton India Esports portal now shows “Registration Closed,” and all registered squads are moving into the next and very important stage of the competition.
BGIS 2026 Verification Process Starts Today
The verification phase for BGIS 2026 runs from January 5 to January 7, 2026. During this time, team captains must carefully check that all player details are correct. This includes in-game IDs, player names, team information, and uploaded government documents.
Any mismatch can cause problems later, so teams are advised to review everything calmly and properly.
Once verification is complete, the In-Game Qualifiers will begin from January 8 to January 14, 2026. Only verified teams will be allowed to play.
To enter the qualifiers, squads must meet these basic rules:
- Team size between 4 to 6 players
- All players must be Level 30 or above
- Minimum rank requirement of Platinum I
Teams should keep checking the official Krafton website and social media pages to stay updated on verification results and match timings.
BGIS 2026 Verification Pending or Failed Status Explained
Many teams are currently seeing “pending” or “failed” status on the portal as verification begins. This has caused some panic, but Krafton India Esports has asked teams to stay patient.
According to officials, profiles that were submitted correctly will be cleared automatically by January 8, 2026. Due to heavy traffic on the portal, some delays and system issues are expected.
Common reasons for verification problems include:
- In-game name not matching the registered name
- Wrong or mismatched UID
- Incomplete or unclear government ID proof
- Small spelling mistakes in player details
Teams are advised not to resubmit forms unless asked. Instead, double-check details and wait for the system to update during the official verification window.
With a massive prize pool on the line, staying alert during this phase is very important.
BGIS 2026 Tournament Roadmap
After the In-Game Qualifiers, the main tournament journey will begin.
Round 1 is scheduled to start on January 26, 2026. Top teams from the qualifiers will compete alongside invited professional squads. The event will move through multiple online stages before heading to LAN finals in late March.
BGIS 2026 carries a huge prize pool of ₹4 crore, showing Krafton’s strong push to grow the Indian esports scene and support new talent.
Teams that missed registration will have to wait for the next season, but they can use this time to practice, play scrims, and follow BGMI updates to prepare for future events.
