The wait is over. Finally, the BMPS 2026 Semi-Finals begin today at the Nodwin Gaming Arena in Delhi NCR, and if you’re a BGMI fan, this is the event you’ve been waiting for all year.

A total of 24 teams will fight it out across four days, from June 9 to June 12, all chasing one goal: a spot in the BMPS 2026 Grand Finals. With only 8 direct qualification spots on the table, the pressure starts from match one.

Here’s what you need to know about Day 1.

Day 1 Teams to Watch

Today it’s Group B to watch. They play all six matches so they will have the biggest chance to go straight to the top of the overall standings from day one. Teams like Team AXE, Team Tamilas, Autobotz Esports and 4TR Official are all capable of putting up big numbers early on.

Fans will get to see how Gods Reign, Revenant XSpark, Genesis Esports, Team Apex Gaming and True Rippers set the tone for their campaigns as they battle it out in Groups A and C with three matches each. These are deep rosters that have been tested in tournaments, and a fast start can set the tone for the rest of the week.

Every kill point, every placement point matters here. Day 1 can be a slow start and a serious pressure on a team’s qualification hopes later.

BMPS 2026 Semi-Finals Format: How It Works

Semi-Finals will be held from 9-12 June, with all 24 teams playing a double round robin format, meaning each team will play 16 matches in total.

Then, when all the matches are complete, a single combined leaderboard will show who progresses.

  • Top 8 Teams will get Direct Entry to BMPS 2026 Grand Finals
  • 9th-22nd place go to Last Chance Stage for another chance
  • The bottom 2 teams are out of the tournament. 8th place. 24 teams. Sixteen a piece. The maths is simple; there is no room for off days.

Eight spots. Twenty-four teams. Sixteen matches each. The maths is simple; there is no room for off days.
