Brandon McMullen is a South African-born Scottish cricketer. He was born on 18 October 1999. He plays for the Scotland national team and made his international debut in 2022. He is an all-rounder, which means he can both bat and bowl. He bats right-handed and bowls right-arm medium pace. He is known for helping his team with both runs and wickets in international cricket matches.

Brandon McMullen qualified to play for Scotland on residency grounds. In 2022, he was selected for Scotland’s senior squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in Australia. He made his ODI debut against Namibia in December 2022 in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2. At the 2023 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe, he took his first five wicket haul with 5/34 against Ireland.

Brandon McMullen T20 World Cup Impact
Brandon McMullen has been a key all-rounder for Scotland in the 2024 and 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cups. In the 2024 T20 World Cup, he showed top-order reliability and scored an important 60 against Australia. As of mid 2024, he was a vital player in Scotland’s team, often scoring high-impact runs and also bowling useful medium pace overs.
In the 2026 T20 World Cup, he again played an important role. He smashed 95 runs from just 39 balls in a warm-up match against Namibia. He also built crucial middle-order partnerships, including in the match against Nepal, helping his team in tough situations.
