India is grappling with a major second wave of COVID-19 this year with hundreds of thousands being infected every day. The pandemic has also bought the help of friends to Indian shores.

Yesterday, Pat Cummins had donated $50,000 dollars for Covid relief in India. The Australian cricketer who plays for Kolkata Knight Riders has donated money for specific purchase of “oxygen supplies” as India is battling a severe shortage of Oxygen and related supplies when the number of cases is soaring each day.

This generosity of Pat Cummins has inspired Bret Lee to donate to Indian relief efforts. A statement issued by Bret lee at his official Twitter handles he has committed to donating 1 Bitcoin for crypto relief efforts in India. The amount donated will roughly equal Rs 42 lacs. He thanked Pat Cummins for taking the lead and inspiring people to donate.
