The Last Chance Qualifiers (LCQ) of the Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025 BGMI came to an end on November 11, with eight teams securing their places in the Grand Finals. Unfortunately, several top-tier teams, including GodLike Esports, Marcos Gaming, Wyld Fangs, and Madkings, failed to make the cut after disappointing performances.
The Grand Finals are now set to take place from November 14 to 16, featuring the top eight teams each from the Semifinals and the LCQ. Fans can expect three days of intense battles as India’s best BGMI teams fight for the ultimate title.
CEGC 2025 LCQ Results
Top Eight Teams Advance to Grand Finals
The LCQ saw 16 of India’s best BGMI teams competing for just eight final spots. After 24 matches of nonstop action, the top-performing teams emerged as follows:
- Team Tamilas – 188 points
- Autobotz – 186 points
- FS Esports – 186 points
- True Rippers – 178 points
- Team Soul – 174 points
- K9 Esports – 172 points
- Versatile – 165 points
- Victores Sumus – 165 points
Team Tamilas dominated the leaderboard with 188 points and 107 eliminations, proving their consistency and sharp strategy throughout the LCQ. Autobotz and FS Esports were right behind them, tying at 186 points, thanks to their balanced mix of placement points and eliminations.
True Rippers, another strong contender, impressed with 178 points, while Team Soul maintained their top-tier form to take the fifth spot with 174 points. K9 Esports, Versatile, and Victores Sumus rounded out the top eight, sealing their tickets to the Grand Finals.
Big Names Fall Short in the LCQ
The LCQ results shocked many fans as several well-known teams failed to qualify.
Marcos Gaming, one of the tournament favorites, finished ninth with 151 points, missing out on a Grand Finals berth by a narrow margin. Their gameplay lacked consistency across maps, leading to an early exit.
Meta Ninza followed close behind in 10th place with 148 points, while Wyld Fangs ended 11th with 139 points.
The biggest disappointment came from Team GodLike, a fan-favorite squad that recently added Manya and Spower to its roster. Despite high expectations, they finished in 12th place with 137 points, managing only one Chicken Dinner and 108 eliminations across all matches.
Rising Esports, who entered the tournament with Team Aryan’s roster, also underperformed, ending 13th with 113 points. Madkings, Why Not Esports, and DSG Official rounded out the standings, struggling to make any major impact.
Team Tamilas Lead the Pack with Dominant Play
Among all competitors, Team Tamilas were the standout performers of the LCQ. Their aggressive playstyle and calculated rotations helped them secure first place with 188 points the highest of the stage.
Their ability to maintain high elimination counts while surviving late into the zones showed a perfect balance between aggression and strategy. Autobotz and FS Esports were not far behind, delivering consistent results that kept them near the top of the rankings throughout the event.
Grand Finals: The Ultimate Test Awaits
With only 16 teams remaining, the stage is now set for the Grand Finals of CEGC 2025 BGMI, scheduled for November 14–16. The best squads from across the country will battle it out for the championship and a share of the massive prize pool.
The finalists include the top performers from both the Semifinals and the LCQ, guaranteeing three days of high-octane BGMI action.
As fans look forward to the next phase, Team Tamilas, Team Soul, and FS Esports will enter as favorites but with unpredictable underdogs like Autobotz and True Rippers in the mix, the Grand Finals could deliver some surprising results.
