The Clash of Clans community has been waiting for one big thing ever since it was removed years ago. Now it looks like Global Chat might finally come back, and this time it could be smarter, safer and more stable because Supercell is testing new AI systems to improve communication inside the game.
Global Chat was removed on 19 October because of safety issues and the challenge of moderating millions of messages. Many fans were upset because it was the easiest way to meet players, make friends and find active clans. After years of silence, things are changing again, and the leak around its possible comeback has created a lot of excitement.
The Leak That Started Everything
After the Clash of Clans TH18 Event, the AI lead at Supercell hinted at three major AI projects planned for all Supercell games. Soon after that, the user @Robinso91885584 posted a leak on X on 20 November 2025, around 8 PM IST, hinting that Global Chat could return.

Players reacted instantly because Global Chat was one of the most missed features in Clash of Clans. People still talk about the old days when the chat was full of random conversations, clan recruiting and fun interactions.
Why AI Can Bring Global Chat Back
Supercell’s AI head, Otto Soderlund, explained that the company is now building AI tools that will help manage communities better and make the games more engaging. These AI tools are designed to improve player experience, control harmful messages and even help players participate more in the creative side of the game.
Because of these upgrades, the chances of bringing back Global Chat are stronger than ever. With AI monitoring and filtering chats in real time, Supercell can maintain a safe environment without removing the feature again. The same system could also improve clan chat for open clans, making it easier for new players to join active groups.
Supercell’s Three AI Horizons
Supercell’s plans fall under three main goals:
Horizon 1: Improve service and provide better content to the players.
Horizon 2: Build smart AI features for new games and use proven systems to grow live games.
Horizon 3: Identify new ways to boost player engagement across all games.
The possible return of Global Chat fits perfectly into Horizon 3. When the game removed the old global chat and changed the clan search method, many players felt disconnected. It became harder to find a good clan or meet new players, which reduced overall activity in the game.
Why Now Is the Right Time for Global Chat
Clash of Clans has recently added new reward systems, codes and events that bring old players back. With so many returning players, the game needs a strong communication space again.
If Supercell wants to increase engagement and bring back the old community feel, Global Chat is the perfect start. With AI helping moderation, the new Global Chat could be cleaner, faster and much more fun than the old one.
A return like this can reconnect players, encourage clan activity and revive that social energy that made Clash of Clans feel alive for so many years.
The community has waited long enough, and if the leaks are true, Global Chat may finally be on its way back into the game.
