Premier League Team Of the Season was revealed yesterday. It was announced to be released in packs on 30th April. Never before in FIFA’s history such has been done. The team is revealed only on the day when it is released in the game. As per reports EA Sports are going to participate in the social media boycott on this weekend. So they won’t be posting anything on any social media platform regarding the game in the next 3 days.
Talking about the revealed Premier League Team Of The Season (Prem TOTS), most of the expected names got in. In Attackers, Harry Kane, Heung Min-Son, Mohamed Salah and Jamie Vardy were given the cards. In midfield Kevin De Bruyne, Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford, Mason Mount and Ilkay Gundogan were selected. In defence it was a bit of a surprise. Luke Shaw, Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo were definite candidates for Prem TOTS but Leicester City defender Fofana was given a card instead of in-form John Stones. In the goalkeeper slot, Ederson was preferred instead of Mendy or Martinez.
Rodri and Bamford were not included in the main Prem TOTS team but were given Objective TOTS card. Bruno Fernandes, Kevin De Bruyne, Harry Kane and Mohamed Salah were joint highest 96 rated cards. The FIFA community was a bit disappointed as they were expecting higher rated cards with much more pace upgrade. They were also expecting a 99 rated Bruno Fernandes which didn’t happen. The Prem TOTS will be available in the game from 30th April.
