England Barmy Army celebrates Sam’s Curran birthday with a hilarious moment
English all-rounder Sam Curran turned 23 on Thursday. He made his Test debut in the year 2018, in a Test series against Pakistan.
Curran has many records to his name as a young player across many leagues and tournaments in the world. He currently represents Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League.
He got picked for CSK in IPL 2020 auction for Rs 5.5 crore. Curran scalped a wicket and scored 18 off just 6 balls in his maiden outing for CSK where defeated Mumbai Indians in that contest.
In 2021, he dismissed 9 batsmen and also scored 52 runs before the tournament was called off.
However, he won’t be part of the remainder tournament as The England Cricket Board has already confirmed that it won’t allow the national players to skip the fixtures. England has a packed schedule before T20 World Cup 2021.
Sam Curran has been very destructive with his batting as well as his bowling. In the 2018 Test series against India, he scored a lot of valuable runs for India as well as picked crucial wickets of batsmen like Shikhar Dhawan and Hardik Pandya.
England Barmy Army took to Twitter to wish Sam Curran on his birthday and also shared a hilarious video featuring him where he was having fun in the dressing room.
“Happy Birthday, @CurranSM
We’re glad you are more talented with a cricket ball in your hand”
