The Free Fire World Cup 2026 officially started in Paris, France. Twenty-four best Free Fire teams from the world are fighting with each other for the crown and a Prize pool of $1 million. The top four teams of both groups will get a direct spot in the Grand Finals of the Free Fire World Cup 2026.
On day 1 of the group stage, some teams are searching for their rhythm and some teams are looking so good. All three Indian teams are not performing well on day 1 but let’s hope for a comeback on day 2. Buriram United is leading in Group A. MIBR.LOS is also dominating their group, B.

How the Groups Are Shaping Up
Each group will play 12 matches in total, and after the first 6, here’s where things stand.
Group A (Top 4 move on to the Grand Finals):
Buriram United is leading the pack with 132 points, followed by Gun Dynasty (115), AG Global (112), and EVOS Esports (111). Loud Snickers isn’t far behind with 107 points, while Team Falcons sits at 89. Further down, Aurora Gaming (58) and DRS Gaming (52) are still in the mix, but Team Apex Gaming (43), Paradox Gaming (41), Titan Esports (38), and Demons Pride (30) will need a strong comeback if they want a shot at the top four.
Group B (Top 4 move on to the Grand Finals):
MIBR.LOS is dominating with 126 points, well ahead of the rest. Team Vitality (94) and a close fight between Twisted Minds and Fluxo W7M, both at 90 points, follow next. Team RRQ (88) is right behind them, with Team Secret (74) and Lyon (72) also in the hunt. iQOO Total Gaming, the Indian squad, currently has 69 points. Al Ahli Esports (61), S8UL Esports (59), Mia Corp (41), and Straw Hats (24) round out the group, with a lot of ground still to cover.
With half the matches still left to play in each group, there’s plenty of time for these rankings to shuffle around before the top four spots are locked in.
