David vs Goliath in every sense. It was never a match from the start and Bayern Munich starting the match with the 1st team was game over before it even started.
Bayern Munich Vs Auckland City FC
The big heavyweights vs the part-time footballers. A big mis-match of the skills set and team valuation. The 1st half started as it was predicted. Bayern Munich were all over the pitch and were attacking with an absolute swagger.
The European elites dominated the proceedings as they weaved passes in and around the penalty area. And it did not take much longer for them to score the 1st goal. Kingsley Coman scored from a header after Jonathan Tah put a header back into the dangerous area in the 5th minute. After that it was just the Bayern Munich attack.
Sacha Boey scored from a Coman assist in the 18th minute to double the lead.

Olise joined the party in the 20th minute when he converted an inviting through ball from Mueller which saw him finish the scrambled ball bouncing just in front of the goal after Harry Kane failed to finish the ball the first time.
A minute later, Coman scored his second goal from a well-timed weak foot shot.
It looked like a long long day for the Auckland City players but they became a bit resolute in defence for another 20 minutes but could not keep the record-man Thomas Mueller off the scoresheet as he scored just on the 45th minute mark on the clock, it looked like Bayern were taking a 5 goal lead but Olise scored a banger from outside of the box, curling in the ball with a sweet pace to it, the goalkeeper could only admire.
Bayern Munich scored 6 goals in the 1st half
Bayern Munich scored 6 goals in the 1st half and it was just morally heart-breaking who could only see Bayern conduct the play.

The second half started differently as ACFC looked like they did not want to concede any more goals, also Bayern substituted Olise and Coman for Gnabry and Karl. Auckland were successful in keeping them quiet until Musiala arrived on the pitch. In the 67th minute, he scored his first goal. 73rd minute, deposited the penalty that he earned and completed the hat-trick in the 84th minute. Musiala was tekkers above and beyond the Auckland site who were just happy to be there.
Mueller scored the 10th and last goal in the 89th minute, marking the biggest win in the competition’s history and has now set the tone for the tournament as we move forward.
