Nandani Sharma:  Breakout WPL 2026 Season for the Delhi Capitals Team

Nandani Sharma from Delhi Capitals was one of the biggest new stars of the season. She was named Emerging Player because she performed better than many senior players. She took 17 wickets, which was the joint-highest in the tournament. 

In one match, she took 5 wickets, which is a big achievement for any bowler. She also took a hat-trick, meaning three wickets in three balls. Her bowling helped her team a lot in key matches.

Smriti Mandhana:  Orange Cap WPL 2026 Season with the RCB Team: Great Run

Smriti Mandhana from the Royal Challengers Bengaluru was the best batter of the season. She scored the most runs and won the Orange Cap with 377 runs in total. 

She played many strong innings and gave her team good starts. In the final match, she scored an important 87 runs and helped her team win the game. Her batting was confident, attacking, and very useful for RCB throughout the tournament. 

Harmanpreet Kaur: Strong Batting WPL 2026 Season for the Mumbai Indians

Harmanpreet Kaur from the Mumbai Indians had a very strong batting season. She finished second in the Orange Cap race by scoring 342 runs. Even though she was not first, she had the best batting average of 68.40, 

Which shows she stayed in not out many times and scored runs consistently. She played a responsible and match-winning innings for her team. Her calm and powerful batting helped the Mumbai Indians in many important matches this season.

Shreyanka Patil:  Young RCB Star In WPL 2026 With Five-Wicket Record 

Shreyanka Patil has been one of the best players for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the WPL. She is an all-rounder who helps with both bat and ball. In 2026, after coming back from a 14-month injury break, 

She took 5 wickets for 23 runs against the Gujarat Giants. She became the youngest bowler to take a five-wicket haul. She was also the top wicket taker in the 2024 season.

Anushka Sharma’s Solid Debut WPL 2026 Season for the Gujarat Giants Team

Anushka Sharma played her first WPL season for Gujarat Giants and impressed everyone with her batting. She was a debut player, but still performed very well under pressure. She scored 177 runs in seven innings, 

Which gave strong support to the team’s batting order. Her runs helped Gujarat Giants build better totals in matches. For a first-season player, her performance was steady and very useful for the team.
