Major feuds have come to an end since WrestleMania, and there have also been exhilarating moments and bouts that will go down in history. Here is a look at five WWE SummerSlam comebacks that shocked everyone.
Kevin Nash at WWE SummerSlam 2011
Few celebrities are as significant to the wrestling industry as Kevin Nash. We will never forget the contributions he made during his tenure with the WCW. Fans were therefore uncertain of what to anticipate when he abruptly made a comeback in 2011 as Triple H prepared to fight CM Punk. When he assaulted Punk and gave that match to Triple H, they were even more perplexed. For Nash, this would be the beginning of a revenge feud.
Bayley at WWE SummerSlam 2022
Bayley has long since vanished from the WWE. It had been almost a year since she last competed after suffering an ACL injury in July 2021 that rendered her ineligible. She went back and confronted Bianca Belair, who had just beaten Becky Lynch, together with Dakota Kai and IYO SKY. Bayley is positioned as a heel by Lynch, who actually stepped in to help Belair and does this job better than most.
Triple H at WWE SummerSlam 2007
When Triple H suffered an injury during a match against Rated-RKO in 2007, he had already been off for a while. He came back seven months later to compete against King Booker in SummerSlam 2007. The two were quite comfortable with one another and the star made an incredible comeback to the ring.
Becky Lynch at WWE SummerSlam 2021
At SummerSlam 2021, Becky Lynch returned to the WWE after being away for more than a year due to childbirth. Lynch unexpectedly came when Carmella appeared ready to take up the confrontation with Bianca Belair because Sasha Banks was not present. She quickly challenged Belair and then used the Manhandle Slam to defeat the star in 26 seconds and claim the title. Fans were surprised by it.
Brock Lesnar at WWE SummerSlam 2021
SummerSlam 2021 was unique for a number of reasons. The fans were shocked when The Beast Incarnate himself returned to the ring following Becky Lynch’s appearance.
