The Free Fire World Cup, part of the Esports World Cup 2026, started on July 15 in Paris, France. In this event there are 24 best teams from the world competing for the championship and a $1 million prize. Every team is trying their hardest in the group stage and the top four of both groups will get the chance to directly take a spot in the grand finals.
Day 1 is done and now the focus shifts to Day 2. This is a big one each group plays their final 6 matches today, which means the race for the top 4 spots (and a spot in the Grand Finals) is about to get a lot more intense.
The Groups
There are twenty-four teams and divided in two groups. Group A and Group B.
Group A: EVOS, AG.AL, Aurora Gaming, Buriram United Esports, Team Falcons, Loud Snickers, Team Apex Gaming, Gundynasty, Titan Esports Club, DRS Gaming, Demons Pride Esports, and ParadoX Gaming.
Group B: Fluxo W7M, Team Secret, Twisted Minds, Team RRQ, Team Vitality, MIBR.LOS, S8UL Esports, Lyon, Straw Hats, iQOO Total Gaming Esports, Al Ahli Esports, and MÍA Corp.
Day 2 Schedule
Just like Day 1, today brings 12 matches total. Group A goes first with six matches, and once they wrap up, Group B takes over for the remaining six.
Match timings (IST):
- Match 1 – 3:30 PM
- Match 2 – 4:00 PM
- Match 3 – 4:35 PM
- Match 4 – 5:05 PM
- Match 5 – 5:40 PM
- Match 6 – 6:10 PM

Each six-match set will run through the same map order:

Indian Teams to Watch
This time there are three Indian teams participating in the Esports World Cup 2026. Team Apex Gaming (TAG), S8UL eSports and Total Gaming are all in action today. The first day did not go well, but they will look forward to day 2 and putting in some more effort to get their spot in the top 4 to get the direct spot in the Grand Finals.
