Funds Allocated to Full Member Nations by ICC

ICC, the governing body of the game of cricket, has done tremendously well when it comes to growing the game, which, compared to other sports, is played by fewer teams. One of the aspects that plays a vital aspects in this process is the allocation of funds.

A total of 600 million US Dollars is what ICC gets as revenue, 532.84 million US Dollars, 88.81% of which is divided between 12 full member nations, and associate nations get 67.16 million US Dollars, which is 11.19%.

Here is the Full list of Funds Allocated to Full Member Nations by ICC for the Time Period Spaning From 2024 to 2027

1. India: 231 Million USD ( INR 2079 Crore) 38.5%

India leads the chart as far as the funds allocated by the ICC are concerned, which stands at 231 Million Dollar translating to 2079 Crore in local currency, given to the BCCI.

2. England: 41.33 Million USD (GBP 30.386 Million) 6.89%

The England and Wales Cricket Board takes the second spot with 41.33 Million USD, which amounts to 30.386 Million Pounds.

3. Australia: 37.53 Million USD (AUD 53.1992 Million) 6.25%

The third of the big three boards, as they are called by a certain section, Cricket Australia, has been allocated 37.53 Million US Dollars, which is approximately 53.1992 Million in local currency.

4. Pakistan: 34.51 Million USD (PKR 967 Crore) 5.75%

The Pakistan Cricket Board, which has time and again vouched for a higher share in the ICC revenue currenly gets 5.7% of it, which is 34.51 Million US Dollars and 967 Crore Pakistani Rupees.

5. New Zealand: 28.38 Million USD (NZD 47.1362 Million) 4.73%

New Zealand, a team which is known for its performance in ICC events, as they are one of the most consistent teams in multination tournaments, has been awarded 28.38 Million US Dollars in the current cycle, which amounts to 47.1362 Million in New Zealand Dollars.

6. West Indies: 27.5 Million USD (XCD 74.3 Million) 4.58%

The WICB, which is often in the news due to the lack of funds, has been given 27.5 million in US Dollars during the 2024-27 period and 74.3 million in local currency, which makes for 4.58% of the total revenue.

7. Sri Lanka: 27.12 Million USD (LKR 8402 Million) 4.52%

The SLC gets 27.12 million, which is 8402 LKR, making for 4.52% of ICC’s total revenue.

8. Bangladesh: 26.74 Million USD (BDT 3274 Million) 4.46%

Bangladesh, the fourth asian team on the list, accounts for 4.46% of ICC’s annual revenue, which amounts to 26.74 million US Dollars and 3274 million in Local Currency.

9. South Africa: 26.24 Million USD (ZAR 420 Million) 4.37%

Cricket South Africa, who have been quite profitable since the start of the SA20, has been given 26.24 million in the form of funds, which is 420 million in local currency

10. Ireland: 18.04 Million USD (EUR 15.2247 Million) 3.01%

One of the two teams that obtained Test status in 2018 is entitled to get 18.04 million dollars in the 2024-27 period, which is 15.2247 million in Euros, Ireland’s local currency.

11. Afghanistan: 16.82 Million USD (AFN 1084.89 Million) 2.8%

The second team that was instated as a Test playing nation in 2018, along with Ireland Afganistan is receiving 16.82 million dollars in the ongoing cycle, which is AFN 1084.89 million.

12. Zimbabwe: 17.64 Million USD (ZWL 6385 Million) 2.94%

The second African nation in the list, Zimbabwe, has been awarded 17.64 million USD, 6385 million ZWL.
