Sachin Tendulkar was born in 1973 and his game completely changed the face of cricket. He revolutionized cricket and set milestones in cricket that we couldn’t imagine were even possible. Over the span of his 24-year long career, he is the only player to have played 200 matches and has 175 test caps to his credit. The only player to have more than 15k runs to his credit in test format is also Sachin Tendulkar. Along with Javed Miandad, he is the only batsman to have played in 6 editions of the world cup.
He was only 16 years old when he played his first test. Until now, he is the youngest international player in-game history to have taken the bat up for his country. Sachin Tendulkar signed off his career in the 2011 World cup with the highest number of runs in the tournament. He has scored most international centuries in both formats of cricket with 51 test centuries in test cricket.
The number of feathers he has in his cap is uncountable. He has broken records and set them that will remain unbroken for a very long time in the coming future. His game has inspired young cricketers who started loving and playing the game after watching him play.
