Cricket commentator and analyst Harsha Bhogle, on World Blood Cancer Day, urged people to donate blood stem cells to the people who are suffering from blood cancer. Every year a lot of people die from blood cancer after being incapable of either finding donors or their insufficiency. Therefore he asked the people to become responsible donors.
Harsha took to Twitter to explain how donating blood stem cells to blood cancer patients can save their lives and give them a second chance to live their lives. He spoke on behalf of an NGO named DKMSxBMST who works to raise funds for people who suffer from blood cancer.
“A blood stem cell transplant from a matching donor could help save lives, maybe being free from the anxiety of blood cancer. On World Blood Cancer Day, please do register as a potential lifesaver at dkms-bmst.org/wbcd & provide a second chance at life to patients in need.”
