Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans: The Haryana Steelers defeated the Telugu Titans 45-34 in an entertaining match at the Thyagaraj Indoor Stadium in Delhi that further enhances their chance of making the Top Four in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 12.

Strong Start by Haryana Steelers Puts Them on Top

The Haryana Steelers started the match with aggressive intent, going into the lead at the beginning of the game. Hardeep had an excellent tackle to get the first point for his team, and they added another almost instantly through a bonus point in the next raid. This kept the Telugu Titans on their toes right from the start, but the Titans came back in force.

Although the Steelers were able to surge ahead in the early stages of the contest, the Telugu Titans maintained an increased pace with Bharat contributing a successful raid to bring the Titans closer in the game. Soon after, both teams went point-for-point, with the Telugu Titans leading by a narrow margin of 6-4 to start the 5th minute.

Telugu Titans’ Brief Dominance

The Telugu Titans gained control in an ALL OUT, taking the game to six points in their favor. But the Haryana Steelers did not give up and staged a robust counterattack. Shivam Patare, whose raids were executed well, brought his team close at 10-8.

As the first half continued, the Steelers’ defence held strong and the Titans were stopped with key tackles. When the Strategic Time Out came into play, the Steelers had the deficit down to a single point at 11-10.

Steelers’ Resilient Second Half to Secure Win

Kicking off the second half with a new power burst, the Haryana Steelers needed no time to streak ahead and take the ALL OUT against Telugu Titans, making it 14-13.

It was still a tight game, with the teams exchanging points and staying neck and neck, but the Steelers were now starting to show they had as much tactical know-how as the Titans. Bharat kept going for the Telugu Titans, finishing his Super 10 with a string of smart raids.

Vinay Shines with a Super 10 Performance

Vinay, who had played in tremendous touch all through the match, finished his Super 10, adding vital points to his side’s score. As the game went on, the Steelers’ supremacy became even clearer, as they delivered yet another ALL OUT, leaving them 43-29 ahead and virtually securing the victory.

The Haryana Steelers remained calm, with a consistent run of points, and wrapped up a dominating win by 11 points, with a 45-34 result. This victory not only reflected their attacking prowess but also their defending fortitude, a good all-round performance.
