“He didn’t have a lot of time in Manchester, but knows a lot about football,” says David Alaba on Ralf Rangnick’s time at Man United

Manchester United ex-interim manager Ralf Rangnick left the consultancy role and join Austria national football team as a coach.

Austria national football team’s coach Ralf Rangnick left the role of consultancy which Premier League side Man United gave him along with the interim role. Real Madrid’s defender David Alaba praised Ralf Rangnick.

David Alaba is an Austrian footballer and he will now be playing under Ralf Rangnick as he joined the team this season leaving Manchester United’s consultancy role.

“He didn’t have a lot of time in Manchester. He has a really good plan and knows a lot about football,” said Real Madrid central defender David Alaba on Ralf Rangnick’s time in Manchester.

Ralf Rangnick didn’t have a good time in Manchester United as he was been appointed as an interim manager to make the United finish in the top 4. But the team couldn’t do it and will not play in next season’s Champions League. During his time at Manchester, he pointed out so many things that need to be changed in the club and talking in press conferences he always used to say that he wants to bring the club back to glory again.

Earlier Ralf Rangnick planned to have the consultancy role at the club but after he talked with a new manager Erik ten Hag, he changed his plan and left for his international duty. According to Fabrizio Romano, there wasn’t any ‘war of words’ between Ralf and Erik, it’s just ten Hag didn’t want the person with the same mindset in the club as him.
