India’s Players With Highest Individual Scores Away From Home In Tests

Shubman Gill scored 269 runs against England in the Edgbaston Test and made his name in the record books. After this big knock, he is now among the 5 Indian batters who have scored the highest individual scores away from home in Test cricket.

Let’s look at those top 5 knocks where Indian players made their biggest scores in away conditions.

Sachin Tendulkar made the fifth-highest individual score by an Indian in an away Test match with an unbeaten 248 against Bangladesh in Dhaka in 2004. India had given away 184 runs in the first innings, but came back strongly with the bat and scored 526 runs. This was possible because of Sachin’s not-out knock where he dominated all the bowlers.

4. Virender Sehwag – 254 vs Pakistan (2006)

On the top of the list again is Virender Sehwag with his famous 309-run knock that he played in Multan in April 2004. India batted first and declared their innings at 675 runs.
