How to Become an Indian Cricket Umpire

You will be able to take the BCCI level 2 exam only after passing the refresher exam. However, the requirement to take a refresher course after passing the BCCI level 1 exam has been removed as of 2019. Passing the Level 1 theory exam now automatically qualifies you for the Level 2 theory exam.

Step 5: Pass the Level 2 BCCI Exam

You are eligible to take the BCCI Level 2 examination after completing the BCCI Level 1 refresher course. This refresher course, as previously stated, must be taken within one year of passing the BCCI Level 1 test. The BCCI level 2 examination is similar in nature and format to previous exams. The level 2 exam is divided into three sections: theory, practical, and oral (Viva). If you pass the BCCI level 2 examination, you will be appointed as a BCCI Umpire.
