One of the most exciting challenges is defeating Orgas, a powerful boss found in the Forsaken Tower. Facing Orgas requires good preparation and strategy. Here’s a simple guide to help you succeed.
Getting Ready for the Battle
The first step to fighting Orgas is starting the “Superior Scrimshaw” quest. You can accept this quest from a craftsman in the Merchant’s Bazaar, located in Port Brilehaven. The goal is to collect the Ebony Horn, which Orgas has. Make sure you stock up on healing items before the fight, as they will be essential.
Metaphor ReFantazio: The Journey to the Forsaken Tower
Before you even face Orgas, you’ll need to climb the Forsaken Tower. The tower itself is filled with tough enemies that you can either fight or avoid. Save your progress when you reach the 17th floor, right before facing Orgas, just in case things go wrong.
Choosing the Right Characters
Orgas are weak against Dark attacks, so having the right characters in your team is important. It’s recommended to include a Faker archetype in your party, with characters like Heismay, Hulkenberg, or Strohl. Heismay’s Assassin archetype is especially useful since it deals Dark damage. Adding a thief archetype is also a good idea, as they can also deal with Dark attacks. You’ll also want a Cleric archetype to keep your party healed during the battle.
Strategy for Fighting Orgas
Orgas are strong against most physical attacks, such as pierces, slashes, and strikes, so avoid using those. Focus on using Dark skills with your Thief and Assassin characters. You can cast spells like Mudo, Mudoon, and Assassinate to deal damage quickly.
During the battle, Orgas may use powerful moves like Charge, which can seriously hurt your party. This is where the cleric’s healing abilities will be important. As Orgas takes more damage, it enters rampage mode, becoming even more dangerous. At this point, use the Faker skill Dekaja to reduce its strength and keep attacking with Dark skills.
Claiming Your Reward
Once Orgas is defeated, you can collect the Ebony Horn. Return to the merchant in Port Brilehaven to complete the quest and claim your reward. With Orgas out of the way, you’ll be one step closer to mastering the challenges in Metaphor ReFantazio.
