International Cricket Council (ICC) surprised the cricket fans by featuring the New Zealand legend and the former captain of the team Martin Crowe on the first day of its ICC Hall of Fame month on Sunday.
ICC recently introduced the Hall of Fame month where it will feature legendary players. Martin Crowe was the captain of the ODI and the T20 team has also been considered one of the greatest players of all time. Named one of Wisden’s Cricketers of the Year in 1985, he was a player of the tournament at the 1992 World Cup, scoring 456 runs in nine matches. Crowe passed away on 3 March 2016.
