Speculated Predictions
There have been a lot of assumptions concerning the qualifiers who will make it to Top 12. As per reports, for Group ‘A’ the qualification for Sri Lanka is partially guaranteed, as they recently managed to defeat India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh to win the title at a tournament. On the other hand, Netherlands have shown to be competitive in the series against Pakistan and New Zealand, recently. While countries like the United Arab Emirates didn’t qualify for the Asia Cup at the moment, another competitor Namibia is yet to play a high level T20 this year. The two countries are expected to showcase their extraordinary skills and give a hardy competition to the rest.
According to reports, from Group ‘B’ the West Indies is expected to qualify, as they are in a better position, when compared to the rest of three competitors. Moreover, Ireland might be qualified next, after their very recent performance, where they defeated Afghanistan in a tight five game T20 series. Another country, Zimbabwe is also expected to give them a good run, after their recent ODI win against Australia, and T20 World Cup series victory over Bangladesh. And Scotland might be providing a tough competition to the rest.
Well, nothing can be said at the moment as the players are preparing well for this tournament. Every team has been putting in a lot of effort in order to present their stunning performances.
