If Jasprit Bumrah Gets Ruled Out From the T20 World Cup 2022 : These Three Bowlers Can Take His Place in India’s Playing XI

According to the ongoing speculation, Jasprit Bumrah is likely to be ruled out from the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 due to his back stress fracture complications. As per the reports, an anonymous BCCI official has recently revealed that Bumrah has been suffering from a serious back ailment and would not be able to make a comeback to international cricket before 5-6 months. The news came out on Wednesday as a major shock to the fans of Indian cricket sport when Bumrah was ruled out from the T20I series against South Africa.

Although Bumrah’s withdrawal from the World Cup tournament would prove to be a major setback for the bowling unit of India, who have already been leaking quite a lot of runs in the crucial death overs of the match, which also resulted in a dreadful defeat against Australia in the opening match of T20I series against Australia in Mohali, the national selectors of the Indian cricket team would have to find a strong replacement for the pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah.

Here are some of the bowlers who have been putting up a good show on the pitch recently and might be on the radar of the Indian cricket management team :

1. Mohammed Siraj

The 28-year-old right-arm pacer, Mohammed Siraj, recently took the place of the Indian premier pacer, Jasprit Bumrah, in the opening match of the T20I series against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. Siraj, aka as the ‘red-ball’ specialist, has managed to pick off a total of five wickets in his five T20I matches. With an economy of 10.45 in short formats, the ace cricketer who plays for RCB could prove to be a crucial pick as Bumrah’s replacement.

2. Arshdeep Singh

The left-hand medium pacer, Arshdeep Singh, is currently one of the most ‘talked-about’ cricketers in the Indian cricket team. Arshdeep Singh recently annihilated South Africa in the opening match of the T20I series and led India to a formidable victory of 1-0. Arshdeep picked up the most crucial 3 wickets in the early overs of the match, leaving the South African top-order disoriented and clueless. With an economy of 8, Arshdeep Singh could be an ideal replacement for Bumrah.

3. Deepak Chahar

Deepak Chahar is made up of gold and the cricketer quite proved it in the opening match of the T20I series against South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram, where he brilliantly picked up 2 crucial wickets in four overs, giving just 24 runs. Chahar has an extremely good hold on the ball and can brilliantly clock his deliveries between 135-140 kph, which is phenomenal in short format games. Additionally, Deepak Chahar, with his fairly good batting skills, can also add some value to the bottom order of the Indian cricket team, making him a strong pick for the national selectors of the Indian cricket team.
