IFSC Sport Climbing World Cup 2025: Events, Stops, Schedule

The Sport Climbing World Cup 2025 season is set where there will be 14 stops and a total of 18 events– 6 boulder, 6 lead, and 6 speed.

China will be the first stop in 2025 for the second time in a row, with a boulder event in Keqiao from April 18-20, followed by a lead & speed World Cup just a few days later in Wujiang. The actions will then head to the next stop in Asia –Bali in Indonesia.

The IFSC introduces three new cities to the circuit in the Sport Climbing World Cup 2025 season. They are: 

  • Curitiba- This city in Brazil will be the first-ever IFSC World Cup event in South America
  • Krakow- A city in in Poland a speed competition will be held
  • Madrid- The Spanish city is set to stage a lead event.

The USA will also be a crucial stop this season with two important events– a boulder action in Salt Lake City and a speed climbing event in Denver.

From June until September, the focus will shift to Europe where eight Sport Climbing World Cup competitions will be held. The last one will be in Koper, Slovenia.

All three disciplines will be medal events for each gender at the LA28 Olympics.
