After leveling the series 1-1 against England, the Indian team will look to bounce back stronger with the Oval test starting on 2nd September 2021.
Amidst all the training and preparations that are underway, Senior pacer- Ishant Sharma might not find a place in the Playing XI. He might be dropped from the remaining tests against England.
Ishant Sharma didn’t have the best figures (22-0-92-0) among the Indian pacers during the third test match.
England went on to win the third test by an innings and 76 runs. The visitors were successfully able to level the series.
Indian Skipper Virat Kohli has not confirmed any of these details. He refused to speak about Ishant Sharma’s performance after the match. There has been no official confirmation on the Playing XI in the fourth test against England at the Oval.
It will be interesting to see how Team India goes in the matches starting 2nd September. India needs to up their game if they want to see a victory. On the other hand, Joe Root’s England squad must keep up their momentum if they want desired results!
