In a surprise move, India has made a sudden change to their Asia Cup squad just before the final match scheduled for Sunday, 17th September.
Washington Sundar has been announced as a replacement for Axar Patel on the eve of the Asia Cup Final showdown against Sri Lanka. Sundar has already arrived in Colombo and is now part of the team.
Axar Patel suffered a left quadriceps strain during India’s last Super Four game against Bangladesh on September 15th, ruling him out of the crucial final match.
