The Indian Wells Open 2025 kicks off on March 5, bringing together world’s top tennis players. Competitions are held in men’s and women’s categories.
This is the first ATP Masters 1000 tournament and the third WTA 1000 competition of the year. It is the 51st edition of the men’s event and 36th of the women’s event.
The matches will be played on outdoor hard courts at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden in the Californian desert.
With men’s world number one Jannik Sinner suspended until May, Spanish No. 3 Carlos Alcaraz will be looking to claim a third successive triumph at Indian Wells.
In the women’s field, world number one Aryna Sabalenka and defending champion Iga Swiatek are the top favourites. Swiatek aims to become the first back-to-back champion in the tournament since Martina Navratilova in 1991.
The finals will be played on Sunday, March 16.
