Indian Women’s Cricket Team to tour New Zealand in 2022, ahead of ODI World Cup
The Indian Women’s Cricket Team will be touring New Zealand in February 2022 for a Six-Match Series against the White Ferns ahead of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, scheduled to take place in New Zealand.

The Indian Women’s Cricket Team will be touring New Zealand to face the White Ferns ahead of the 2022 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, which will be hosted in New Zealand.
New Zealand Cricket announced this on Friday, 12th November as part of their international summer schedule for the 2021- 22 season.
“The WHITE FERNS will put the finishing touches on their preparations for the upcoming World Cup, to be hosted in New Zealand for the first time in 22 years, when they play India in a six-match series comprising a T20, and five ODIs,” New Zealand Cricket said in the announcement.

Meanwhile, the Indian Women’s Cricket Team will be touring New Zealand for a six-match series consisting of a lone T20I, and five One-Day Internationals in February next year as final preparation for the Women’s ODI World Cup.

NZC chief executive David White said, “The India series is a crucial part of the WHITE FERNS’ World Cup preparations.”
Meanwhile, the ICC Women’s World Cup was postponed for a year because of the Covid-19 pandemic. It will be played from 4 March – 3 April 2022 in New Zealand for the first time in 22 years.
However, the Indian Women’s Team last played a multi-format series against Australia in September-October this year. It consisted of 3 ODI’s, a One-off D/N Test and 3 T20Is. It was a well-fought series for India but the Aussie clinched it by 11-5.
