The Indiana Pacers are just one win away from clinching the NBA 2025 trophy. Meanwhile, they’ve already reached a milestone touched by no other team. The Pacers have become the first team ever to have eight players score at least 200 points in a single postseason run. 

In the NBA Finals 2025 Game 6, the Indiana Pacers made a remarkable comeback when everyone expected them to lose. Their collective strength, with six players reaching double-digit scoring, earned them a much-needed victory to even the series with 3 wins each. They touched this milestone and also took a commanding victory against the OKC Thunder.

Indiana Pacers To Face OKC Thunder In A Finale

The team will face the OKC Thunder once again for a final game. Game 7 is scheduled for 8 pm ET on ABC in Oklahoma City. The Indiana Pacers have a chance to win the first-ever NBA title for a franchise that won three American Basketball Association titles before joining the NBA. 

Pacers’ star performer Tyrese Haliburton said, “The narratives are going to be almost poison. To talk about what this would mean to our city and our organisation and legacy talk, and how we played so well and now the pressure is on (the Thunder) … there’s going to be narratives that we can’t really pay attention to.”

“We’ve got to control what we can. So much of these games has come down to who is going to start the fight from a physicality standpoint, take care of the ball better, rebound the ball better. Those are the important things that we need to focus on … we’ve got to be ready to compete in game seven,” he added.
